Bailey-Noble family reunion 2011

We got to be up in Montana for our family reunion on my moms side of the family. Some of that family I had not seen in over 3 years. Some even more then that. It just happened that the family reunion started the day that my sister had the baby. That is why we were going to go to Montana the night before. So once we left the hospital we headed towards Montana. But first had to go and get some food.

When we finally got to our destination I was so happy to finally get out of the pickup. And so was Harper. She hates long vehicle rides. We got to Montana and I was freezing. I was so not prepared for the cold weather. I have got used to the Arizona weather. I saw my grandparents and I was so happy to see them finally. Especially after the scare we had with my grandma.

Once  the sun went behind the mountain I was so not prepared for the extreme cold that followed. I didn't have any kind of heavy clothing for me or Harper. Needless to saw we went to town the next day and we got Harper a heavier jacket and shoes. Since the shoes that I had also packed for her would not fit with socks on. Once we got back from shopping Papa (my dad) started showing off Harper.

My grandmas brother had a cool swing where we were. It was made out of a horse saddle. Harper loved the swing.

He also had another swing next to that one that was one for you to just sit on and if you wanted to you could swing on it. So my mom got some pictures of her and Harper and my dad on it. Then I got one of my dad and Harper.

When it was time to say goodbye to my family over in Montana I was so not ready to. It seemed like I had just got there. I will miss all of them till I get to see them again. Harper was being ornery and didn't want to say her goodbyes.

Sabrina Marie Erickson

When I made my plans to go to Idaho it was so that I could do two things. Go to a family reunion and hopefully have my new niece be born. I was worried that she would not be. She was not due till the day that I was to fly home.

The day after I had got to Idaho my sister called me to tell me that she was having bad contractions and that once they had a room open in one of the hospitals she was going to be going in so that they could get ready to have a baby. I was so excited to hear that. I was hoping that it would happen when I was in Idaho. And it did. My niece was born on September 16th at 2:03am. I was sad I was not at the hospital with her. But I was so glad to hear that I was actually going to be able to see her. We were supposed to be in Montana the night that she had got admitted. But we didn't because we knew that the baby was going to be coming soon.

The next day once we were all ready and the truck loaded we headed to Spokane to see my sister and the new baby. Before we went to the hospital we went to the other hospital and saw my uncle who had to have open heart surgery. Once we left there is when we went to see my sister. Once we got to that hospital we went to the gift shop to look for something for mommy and baby.

Harper was not to sure what to think of mommy or mema holding the baby. Even though she loves her cousin she was not wanting to share us with her. We were visiting them for a half hour or more and then one of my sisters friends came for a quick visit before they left to go to Montana also. What a coincidence. They were going to a football came though. My sisters friend has two kids. Harper made friends with her little girl.

We left shortly after my sisters friend left. It was so good to see them when we did.

Trip to Idaho

Harper and I went to Idaho on September 14. We were there for 12 days. Harper loved looking out the window of the plane until the people sitting next to us came on board. I was worried that when they got there and Harper had to sit on my lap the whole time she would not do good. But she did. She slept almost the whole time.

Once we landed I was so excited. That meant not to much longer and we would be seeing everyone. Got to the baggage claim and waited for my brother -in-law to get there and wait for my bag. It seemed like it took forever for my bag to get through to me. Once we got my bag we headed to my sisters house. I was so excited to see her finally. When we walked up the stairs to the upstairs of her house she was so excited and jumping up and down. If she could of popped out the baby right then and there she would of. We stayed there for a while and once my other sister got closer to getting there we went out and ate. We went to one of my favorite places to eat.

When we left my sisters house to head to my parents house we had to stop at Walmart and gas up the pickup first. We were going to go to the closer of the Walmart's but after this picture was took not even 10 minutes later she was asleep.
Once we got finally to my parents house it was dark out. I was so happy when we finally got there. It seemed like it had been forever since I had seen them. In reality it had only been 7 months. We all visited for a while. My other sister and nephew came up also and the kids played. Once they left we all went to bed. Harper had a hard time sleeping in a play pin. Seeing how she has her own room at home with a crib in it. I could see how she was having a hard time being in a different bed and in the same room at me.

Water Slide

Harper got to experience a water slide for the first time this summer. Stockton put up their old water slide in the back yard. After it got all patched up of course. Harper and Stockton were the only ones home and we had her swimming suit at their house because it was planned that the kids were all going to go over and play on it.

Once it was set up and Harper and Stockton got their swimming suits on they went and played on it. Harper was not sure at first what to think of the water slide. They played on the water slide for a long time.
Then we all went out and ate dinner. Pizza... One of Harper's favorites. She even got to share a pop with grandpa. She loves it when he shares his pop with her.
Once we were done with dinner we went back to the house and Harper and Stockton got back on the water slide. They had a lot of fun on it.

A visit to the Swainstons.

Our first time meeting the Swainston family was when Harper and I came down to Arizona the first time and met everyone and celebrated Thanksgiving. Harper loved playing with the girls at their house. She was of course like always the center of attention.

Since we have lived here we have went over to their house a few more times. Harper of course was the center of attention. She loved having the girls there to play with even though they are way older then her. Harper got to experience her first time on a trampoline at their house.

Not sure where she had more fun. On the trampoline or in the tent. She was having so much fun that day.  Had everyone laughing.

San Diego trip

In July Kolby and I went to San Diego for 2 days and Orange County for 2 days. The start of our trip started in Orange County visiting Kolby's Great Gram and Aunt. It was a nice visit. We got there in time for dinner. We actually went and did things on Friday. It was a fun day. We went and had lunch, went to the mall and of course went shopping at the mall, went and watched Transformers for the second time, and then went to dinner. After dinner we went back to the house. Visited with Great Gram and then went to bed after a while. The next morning we got up and headed to San Diego.

When we got to San Diego we went straight to Sea World. We met up with some of my cousins and went and watched and looked at all of the shows they had. It was so fun. by the end of the day we were so wore out and tired. While we were still at Sea World we went and got souvenirs for Harper and one for us.

Thar Sunday before we headed home we went and saw one of Kolby's old mission companion give his welcome home speech. Kolby visited with him for a while then we headed back home. The drive home seemed like it would never end. When we got back I was so happy to see Harper. It felt like forever that I was not with her.

2nd trip to the zoo

Our second trip to the zoo was fun. Harper and I went to the zoo with a friend and her kids. Harper and all the kids enjoyed seeing all the animals. She liked sitting next to the baby in the stroller.
The first animal that all the kids enjoyed watching was the lion cub. He was wanting to play. He was running up and down the fence line with the kids. When he wasn't running up and down the fence he was playing with the balls that they had in his cage for him.

All the kids sure enjoyed walking around and looking at all of the animals at the zoo. It was fun letting the kids watch them also. I think that the kids had the most fun when we got to the giraffes. All the kids loved feeding them.

Everyone that went to the zoo that day had a fun time. Everyone was ready for naps after we were done.
