Harper's 2nd Halloween

So this year for Halloween Harper was Minnie Mouse. Even though she is still not to sure what Halloween is she loved being Minnie Mouse. She loved getting dresses up in her costume. Too bad I should of thought about it and bought her a bigger size of costume. It was too small. Which was a bummer.

So for Halloween our Church had a Halloween party so we had that and then two nights after that Kolby's parents ward had their Halloween party so we went to that one also. So along with the actual trick or treating she had a pretty adventurous Halloween. I would say.

So before we took the kids out Trick-or-Treating we got some pictures of them all in their costumes. All three of the girls were Minnie Mouse. Kernan was Indiana Jones and Stockton was a motorcycle rider.

Harper, Jaxin, and I were the ones who had got the most candy. We walked all together about 5 blocks and got in one bag more then all the other three kids did. And we had two bags that full. I would have to say that we had a very good Halloween and cant wait till next year to do it all over again. Just not to start slowly thinking of what Harper will be dressed up as.

Harper meets Tyler Oct. 5th

Kolby had a friend that was still on his mission when we moved to Arizona. So when he came home we were all waiting to meet him. Poor Harper still had a bandage on a stitches the first time he met her. At first she was not so sure about what to think about him. She was being so shy. But later that night it all changed.

Harper sure does love Grandpa (Tyler's dad Russell)
She warmed up really quick once we were at Tyler's parents house. She warmed up to much that she was being the center of attention. Even when it should of been Tyler since non of them had seen him in 2 years. Harper was having everyone sit on the floor and playing paddy cake.

She had everyone sitting on the floor. All 11 people in the house. It was so much fun though. Harper loved all the attention that she was getting.

After playing paddy cake Harper thought that it was time to go around the room and beep everyone's noses.

Harper warmed up to Tyler so quick once she was at his parents house. It was one of the cutest things ever. Tyler became her best friend. She loved giving him hugs also.
Needless to say Harper is best friends with everyone she meets and they all love her.

Harper's 1st ER visit Oct. 3, 2011

So we got a great big scare from Harper and had to take her to the hospital. We were at a friends house and the kids were playing and next think you know Harper is screaming and our friends daughter is carrying her inside. Then I see all the blood coming out. I thought it was just from her mouth till I saw her forehead. Right then I knew we had to go to the hospital. Where she hit her head was on the bottom of our friends door frame.

With all the pain that I knew she was in she was in a good mood after we got settled in the ER room. Good thing because we were there over 3 hours before they stitched her head up. Poor baby hated having to get it cleaned out and having to be held down.

After they stitched her up she had a final count of 2 dissolveable stitches underneath her her skin and then one running stitch that looped 6 times. I felt so bad having to have them hold her down so that they could get the stitches done. She HATED it. I would not blame her. I know if there is a next time that something like that happens I am not going to be in the room. I could barely handle it.

The next day she was a very cuddly baby girl. I figured she would be after the night before. She had to of been in pain.

After the 24 hours of leaving the bandage on like the doctor told us to we took off the bandage.
The doctor told us to get the stitches took out 5 to 7 days after the day she got them in. Of course both days he told us to were either a holiday of the weekend when most places were closed. So we had a dentist we know take them out since he has all the tools to take them out.

Day the stitches came out.

I guess this is where she thinks the bandage goes.

All healed up and looking great.

Family time at Manito Park

So while we were up in Idaho we were trying to get everyone together for a play date. So we decided to have it 2 days before I flew out. It was so nice to get all of the family together. Even my dad went and he usually doesn't do things like that. We even had my Aunt Linda and her husband and foster kids. It was so nice to see all of them.

We made salads and had hamburgers and hot dogs. When we were there all the kids enjoyed playing together. All the kids were getting along so well.

Auntie Daunie got to meet baby Sabrina for the first time that day. But after we were done at  the park Daunie left for Washington.
Uncle Kolby also got to meet Sabrina for the first time also. Now if only she was mine I would be happy. Hoped it would strike baby fever with my husband but it didn't.

Harper loved all the attention that she was getting also.

It was the first time in a long time that all of the family was together. Minus one because one of my brother in laws was not there. So we finally got a family picture of all of us together.
That day was a good day and a lot of visiting that was well needed happened. I love and miss all of my family up there.

Bailey-Noble family reunion 2011

We got to be up in Montana for our family reunion on my moms side of the family. Some of that family I had not seen in over 3 years. Some even more then that. It just happened that the family reunion started the day that my sister had the baby. That is why we were going to go to Montana the night before. So once we left the hospital we headed towards Montana. But first had to go and get some food.

When we finally got to our destination I was so happy to finally get out of the pickup. And so was Harper. She hates long vehicle rides. We got to Montana and I was freezing. I was so not prepared for the cold weather. I have got used to the Arizona weather. I saw my grandparents and I was so happy to see them finally. Especially after the scare we had with my grandma.

Once  the sun went behind the mountain I was so not prepared for the extreme cold that followed. I didn't have any kind of heavy clothing for me or Harper. Needless to saw we went to town the next day and we got Harper a heavier jacket and shoes. Since the shoes that I had also packed for her would not fit with socks on. Once we got back from shopping Papa (my dad) started showing off Harper.

My grandmas brother had a cool swing where we were. It was made out of a horse saddle. Harper loved the swing.

He also had another swing next to that one that was one for you to just sit on and if you wanted to you could swing on it. So my mom got some pictures of her and Harper and my dad on it. Then I got one of my dad and Harper.

When it was time to say goodbye to my family over in Montana I was so not ready to. It seemed like I had just got there. I will miss all of them till I get to see them again. Harper was being ornery and didn't want to say her goodbyes.
